2014 Honda Accord Plug-in Hybrid sedan offers 10-15 miles of EV range, 100 MPGe*

The most interesting numbers for the 2014 Honda Accord Plug-In Hybrid - official EPA fuel economy numbers and miles per gallon equivalent - are not yet available, but we did get a few more details on the corded version of Honda's mass-market sedan that should pique people's interests. Specifically, that the 6.7-kWh battery pack offers somewhere between 10 and 15 miles of all-electric range and can recharge in under an hour from a Level 2 charger, less than three hours from a 120-volt outlet. Honda is saying it expects the Accord PHEV to get rated at over 100 MPGe, but we'll likely have to wait until the Los Angeles Auto Show to know for sure.
The Accord PHEV is the first vehicle to use Honda's new two-motor hybrid system which combines a 2.0-liter, 4-cylinder, i-VTEC Earth Dreams engine with a 124-kW electric motor. Total output is 196 horsepower. The 6.7-kWh pack means the Accord Plug-In Hybrid can qualify buyers for a $3,750 Federal income-tax credit and should get an Enhanced AT-PZEV rating from the California Air Resources Board (CARB).
On the outside, the Accord PHEV gets blue accents around its LED headlights and comes in three colors: White Orchid Pearl, Crystal Black Pearl or Burnished Silver Metallic. That last one is a PHEV exclusive, but the plug-in model should be easy to spot thanks to the special, shuriken-style wheels and "unique front bumper." All plug-in Accords also get Honda's new LaneWatch blind-spot display, which broadcasts a view of the right-side blindspot on the center screen when needed. There are more details below.
The plug-in Accord will go on sale in early 2013 as a 2014 model, and will be followed by the standard hybrid next summer. Please tell me that the hybird car is better or a simple petrol car? Please post a comparison of both
the Hybird car and a petrol car. because I am little confused about them. I think the petrol cars are
always best in use because in a hybird car you have to tension that charge your car but in a petrol
car we have not worries because we know their a petrol station on every 2 km.
