I'm considering quitting my job and getting back into the real estate game. My 15 year old dented camping rig is not going to cut it. I'm looking for something reliable and presentable with room for 4 adults that will have some element of "fun" to it. Basically something that isn't balls slow and handles OK will do the trick. Budget is around $12k and what I've been seeing on CL seems to be mostly in the 90k to 130k mile range.

So far I've been looking at:

2005+ Legacy GT. Always liked them and I like the way Subarus ride and handle. I'm pretty familiar with maintenance issues, upgrades, etc.

2004+ TL. Soccer mom, but looks pretty good and I could potentially find a 6-speed. If not, how crappy are the automatics? Any reliability issues I should look out for? Also my wife's TSX has the most god awful turning radius of any car I've ever driven. Are the TL's any better?

CTS? Probably a bad idea.

Mazdaspeed 6 - I'm not too familiar with Mazdas, but seems like a pretty good car. Any reliability issues to look out for? Does Mike still have one of these?

Anything else I should be looking for? I've ruled out Altima and Accord mainly because they're butt ugly in the year range I'm looking for.

I have been kicking around the idea of getting a new car. I graduate in August and because there is crazy job availability for PA's I expect to be employed before the end of the year. I am currently driving a 2010 Honda Fit. It is a great little car but has 2 main problems: 1) It is small. It is great for hauling 2 people and can hold a ton of stuff in the back because the seats fold. But once you put another person or car seat in the back it becomes cramped. In order for an adult or kid to comfortably fit the front seat needs to be pushed forward which makes it cramped in the front. Even, with this it can still hold a reasonable amount of stuff. 2) Lack of AWD and it is very light which results in mediocre traction in the rain and shitty traction on snow or ice.

So here is what I have been thinking. Something with a little bit more passenger space with AWD. I would also like something a little bit more luxurious but this is not absolutely necessary. The two top choices so far are a used Audi or BMW xi. They seem to fit all my needs. Only down side is that I won't be getting as good of gas mileage as I do with the Fit but I am ok with that.

What do you guys think? BMW 3 series vs 5 series vs Audi A4 vs A6 vs S4 vs S6. Anything else you think will fit my needs better? I have been tossing around the idea of a Subaru...only problem is I would like a little bit more luxury...haven't completely ruled it out yet.

Any and all input is welcome.

I am not talking the new guy at work, I am talking people who have been there long enough that they should know this crap.

Get a call last night while getting close to the end of my second bomber of an Imperial Stout and already having put in a 9 hour day from a guy who has been there for 8yrs and is a manager...convo went like this:

Him: Hey John we have a problem with the beer.
After a pause waiting for details
Me: So what is it doing or not doing?
Him: Beer x isn't pouring
Me: *Heavy sigh*
Him:...neither is beer xx or beer xxx
Me: Seriously?
Him: Yeah it just started happening and the other beers are pouring progressivley slower.
Me: Well what is the one thing all these beers have in common that may make them pour differently or not at all?
Him: *thinks for a few seconds* I'm not sure
Me: What does the CO2 tank read
Him: Well the pressure reads 5psi
Me: and what pressure do we serve at on average?
Him: I don't know but one of the gauges for the tanks is set to 12psi
Me: So if the CO2 tank is less than 12psi what does that mean?
Him: I neeed to turn up the main CO2 pressure?
Me: uhhh no, not how it works there buddy, you can't squeeze blood from a turnip, swap out the CO2 tanks because that one is empty.
Him: Oh, can you come down and do that?
Me: I'm drunk, figure it out or wait until tomorrow.

I am guessing they got it figured out because the phone didn't ring again all night and haven't heard anything so far today.

I have a best buy credit card so that's were I'm going to shop.

The computer I have is a Dell inspiron 531. I have no idea what the specs are (I'm not a computer guy)
I thought all I needed was a graphics card but then I was told I might need a higher power watt output something like that...

I asked geek squad if the inspiron 531 was good to build but the guy said he has no idea lintel he buts the parts in.
And I have windows 7 btw, how do I upgrade that?

I pretty much want to keep the computer I have and upgrade everything so I can use my game. Is this computer I have worth the money to build?
