95 accord 2.2L non vtech egr lines causing car to shake and sometimes turn off

Okay like the title says this car has been mine for a month and man have i had surprise after surprise, anyway the car has 2 vacum lines that hook up to the engine well when i was replacing the spark plugs i noticed one of em (the top one) was not hooked up so i hooked it up and when i was done with the repairs and turned on the car i felt it real shaky and when i drove it i came to a stop and it started shaking snd eventually turned off when i was completely stopped so i went to chek the line i hooked back up and heres what happens, with the car on i unpluged the vacum hose and the car was idling and driving fine and when i hooked it back up the shaking came back anyone know what i need to do...thanx everyone in advance...repair after repair but 40 bucks fills it up and last me 2 weeks
