Differential oil seal for jackshaft question
Differential oil seal for jackshaft question
ok now i replaced the oil seal on the drivers side of my zc tranny where the intermediate shaft locks into it but i've still got a leak and its a pretty fast one. i know i have the right seal but i believe they arent working properly now my question is to anyone who has an intermediate shaft with this type of differential seal does ur seal spin with the jack shaft or is it stationary with ur tranny and the shaft spins inside of the seal? mine is currently spinning with the shaft and i do not believe it should be, if someone gives me confirmation that the seal should be stationary with the shaft rotating independantly inside of the seal then i'll just jb weld the bitch to the car real quick and make my own gasket. TIA for any input
