Default how to check coil....

I don't have any spark coming out of the coil on a '91 accord. Is there a way to check the coil besides replacing it? Anything else I should check first?
Thanks,
Bob

coils are usually potted for shielding and vibration resistance, so checking it wouldnt be easy, except for a conductivity test.

ignitors are a common failure in Hondas, which can obviously cause a loss of voltage.

get a manual that tells you how-to test the coil then get a Multi-Meter and you can test it.
