Default F-rankenstein engine

everyone knows about ls/vtec and crvtec but does anoyone know if it is possible to do a frankenstein type swap with a the f series engines. F22 block from an accord with the f20c from the s2000. I know some work would need to be done to get the compression ratio up there and allow it to rev higher.

any thoughts or ideas??

it wont work... f20c has a timing chain that runs through the head.

if you wana do something w/the f22, get a f22a1 block, stick a h22 crank and rods in there, get some forged pistons and a 1gdsm turbo manifold and boost the piss out of it

The F22 has a "standard" F series head design. The F20C has a head pattern that is very similar to K series engines, supposedly a K series head gasket will work on it. If that is true, they are not even close to working together.

We already have mini-me D-series, Frankenstein B series, unnamed H-series, and unnamed K-series hybrid engines... what do you want another for?

H series (F20B) heads bolt to F series blocks? That's new to me.
