Lsvtec-gsr Block
I have a b18c1 & b18b1 and want to do a lsvtec swap what do yall think about putting the ls crank, rods & pistons in the gsr i have arp rod bolts in the ls so that should cover the spinning a berring problem
-
been there done that
i have also been thinking about doing this in my b18c1. you'll have the benefits of the ls' longer stroke with the b18c1's factory girdle and oil squirters.
this is my signature. there are many like it but this one is mine.

Thats the best way to go, and it's a lot cheaper! you get all of the benefits of an ls/vtec without all of the trial and error trying to get it to work dead correct!!

Hey, I am kinda new to the honda thing and I have a 97 gsr, and thinking of doing this also, but should I use my stock gsr pistons or should i get ls or ctr pistons.
-
been there done that
pr3, p30, or p73 pistons will give you more than enough compression for a wide range of cams. ctr's should be avoided.
this is my signature. there are many like it but this one is mine.
