    Lsvtec-gsr Block

    I have a b18c1 & b18b1 and want to do a lsvtec swap what do yall think about putting the ls crank,rods & pistons in the gsr i have arp rod bolts in the ls so that should cover the spinning a berring problem

    i have also been thinking about doing this in my b18c1. you'll have the benefits of the ls' longer stroke with the b18c1's factory girdle and oil squirters.

    Thats the best way to go, and it's a lot cheaper! you get all of the benefits of an ls/vtec without all of the trial and error trying to get it to work dead correct!!

    Hey, I am kinda new to the honda thing and I have a 97 gsr, and thinking of doing this also, but should I use my stock gsr pistons or should i get ls or ctr pistons.

    pr3, p30, or p73 pistons will give you more than enough compression for a wide range of cams. ctr's should be avoided.
