LS/Vtec
I have the same setup. I have a Ls bottom end with a B18C Vtec head. im running a 1997 Integra P72 OBDI ecu with a OBDII to OBD1 conversion harness. I am using my stock 1996 civic wiring harness. The proper ECU is the Vtec model for you car. 1992 - 1995 A-4 Vtec Soleniod, D3 Knock sensor,d-6 Vtec Pressure. All you have to do on the wiring is as follows:
1. A jumper wire running from the appropraite pin in the ecu to the vtec control solenoid which completes the Vtec activation. 2.Hook up a ground for your knock sensor or install a knock sensor. And thats about it. |

Run a P72 with Vtec
Your harness should be OBD1 so your standard harness will be fine. What car is it give me the model and I will let you know exactly what you will need |

Any honda made before 95 is a OBD1 car. 96 and on is OBDII. Its much easier to just run the jumper cables from the ECU cause the only other way would be to change out the entire harness to the Vtec harness for your model which is way more of a mission.
CIVIC-EG6,EG9 92 - 95 B16A2 B18C1 LS/VTEC (OBD-1) P08,P28, P30,P61,P91 Those are the ecu's you can run for that swap. They will hook up straight the the wiring harness in that civic. Then all you will have to do is run the two jumper wires. Hey who ever said anything was easy. Thats the easiest way to do it. 1992 - 1995 A-4 Vtec Soleniod, D3 Knock sensor,d-6 Vtec Pressure. Those are the pin locations on the ECU for each wire you will have to run. You can have the ECU chipped which will take away having to do the Knock sensor. Hope this helps |
