Default B-Series Engines (NEWB. QUESTION!!!)

Sorry, this may be a newb. question... So can any B-series head and block fit with any other B-series head or block. Like: B16 head w/ B20 Block, or B18 Head with B16 block? As long as its a B-Series, will it work with any other B-series motor? Thanks...

the exception to this is the b20 that came in the early year preludes. these will not work for a b20vtec.

And Accords, and the Accord B18A, etc. h:

To simplify it: no B20A's, B21A's, or any pre-90 B18A or B20A.

I seriously doubt you'll ever run into a gold top B20A or dual carb'ed B18A anyway. If you do, let me know.
