Question about Turbo?
My friend just got a 93 Del Sol with a turbo LS and I was wondering if it will pass emissions? Right now it has a straight pipe but he is going to be getting a cat converter for it. Someone told me that it still might not pass because of bigger injectors. Is that true? Will it pass? By the way he lives in Arlington, VA. Let me know something ASAP.

Still here... sorta...
I still need to try to pass here in CO, but my tags for AL don't expire until March so... we'll see. I have a high-flow cat in there now. Not sure what else I will do other than putting 87 octane in there that day. :happysad:

those older del sols don't have that hook up where the dmv just hooks there computer to, right? One of my buds has a 96 i think and he has no cat and all they did was hook up there computer and it passed. If tuned right you should be able to pass with those injectors, although i imagine at idle it produces pretty bad emissions. good luck
