Default Analize my timeslip!

OK, so it's not a Honda, but a lot of the guys in this section don't drive Hondas anyway.

Notes:
'86 RX-7 (RWD, for those who don't know)
Full tread commuto-tires
approx. 2670lbs with driver.
Wheel horsepower unknown. last tested 120.1whp before more mods.
My car loves wheelhop, it just plain doesn't "burn out."

YES, I know I redlighted. h:

Seems like your 60-foot could be a little better. My Ion's is only a little over 2.4, usually. Does your car pick up most of its speed after the first 1/8 mile?

Going by your trap speeds, you could probably drop a tenth or maybe even two with a better launch.

That was my second best 60' of the night, the only one better was a 2.321. I tried different launching techniques all night, but my car is just crazy about wheel hop... I need to do some work on the rear suspension. From the other RX guys I've talked to, the rear strut towers are a very weak point of the car and a rear strut bar will actually help prevent hop. I plan to get a CorkSport rear bar (exact Cusco copy at half the price) soon.

Looking at the slip... I don't think so.

"Hop" is usually caused by front-to-rear movement of the wheel from wind-up. I'm not sure how a strut tower bar will help that?

You need stronger/stiffer lateral links or bushings...
