ok you 90-93 integra guys. I too have a 2nd gen. i have a 90. id be willing to test fit a set on my car since i only have them on the civic. I will get on the horn with Decah today and see what they say, and if they think it would be close i will order a set and test fit. drop me a line at dctuners@sover.net if you are interested, the more emails i have for a certain generation of car the more chance that if they dont make a kit that will fit that they will make one.

I have talked with Decah and the 94+ integra kit wil bolt up exactly to the 90-93 integra. So i will be getting a set for my 90 and i can take orders for anyone else who wants a set!

Ill get it on there as soon as i can, i was hoping to make a group buy and use my purchase for my car as an extra buy so that i can get a better deal. Like if i get 4 people from your board to buy, i can order mine and have 5 and get a few bucks off on everyones. I have registered with your board since i am also a Gen. 2 owner and wil be posting in the vendor area.

i dont have pictures of it on a 2nd gen integra cause its only been done on one and i dont know who the owner was, but ill tell you that it will look better than the civic for a few reasons. first off we dont have the window frames, so the doors opening up ill look like blades, more like a lambo, and the body styling is more "square" on our cars like the lamborginis. i just think it will look great i hope i can get a bunch of guys together to do it and get a group buy cause it will look GREAT on our cars.

hmm...I may be interested. However I don't think it looks good unless your car is quite modded (slammed or body kit with big rims--17/18in)

THe Decah doors kit will fit on a Del Sol. I can get them for you for $1525 free shipping, Decah sells them for $1600 plus shipping. from me you get great service and support over the phone. My company is called DCtuners, my website will be up within the next week or two. you can email me at dctuners@sover.net or call me at 603-313-6984. Cant waite to hear from you. i've only seen the kit installed on one Del Sol that was at Hot Import Nights in Philly at the Decah booth.

the kit is available for:
1990-01 Acura Integra
1992-00 Honda Civic and Del Sol
1994-00 Honda Accord

Tonight i will be test fitting kits on a 94 prelude and an 88-91 CRX.

Thanks,

there is nothing about this kit that can be made yourself, this is all very very well engineered, its not just a hinge, is a bi-directional pivoting "hinge", its WAY to complicated to do yourself, not to mention make strong enough to hold up a door. you can try, but it wont happen.

DC Tuners, this one's for you:

Comparing the kits available (the Decah and the AutoLoc kits), what are the advantages of each, and why would you push one over the other? If you know. If not, it's cool. Thanks.

I know nothing about the Auto-loc kits available, i know they are mechanical and from what i have heard they require much more than bolt on modification. the beauty of the Decah kit is that the kit is COMPLETELY bolt on. all you need is a socket wrench, and socket... that 'tis all.

about the 87 CRX, no one makes a kit for that Generation CRX, but id be willing to guess that the hinges are the same and it would fit, but i do not have a vehicle to test it on and can make no gaurantees.

Thanks

Doug
