I have an 02 Civic EX and installed an Alpine, it has a subwoofer control, which wires do I connect to use that feature?

There should be 2 special pre outs just for a subwoofer. From the pre outs you run wires to your amp. On my JVC headunit there are 2 RCA cables hanging down labeled "subwoofer".

not all alpines have SUB outputs. use the perout you have and available, look for REMOTE TURN or AMP TURN ON LEAD and connet that to your amp.

For putting in the deck, did you also purchase the adapter for the plug in your civic? Because with that, you just match up the colors, then plug it into your car.

Here's a wicked resource for all that stuff. I've never had a problem with their information, and i've used it quite a bit.
