Default how much should a radiator replace cost

how many hours would it take a certified honda mechanic to replace a radiator in a 1996 honda accord lx automatic tranny?

Also what would be a fair price to pay for this job?

Thanks

Do it yourself... Should take you less than an hour... Go buy one either used or new.. junkyard or performance shop... or just the honda dealership... then take the old one out.. put all the other stuff on the new one.. and pop the new one in.. most shops say there is a lot more stuff to do.. but there really isnt.. they just try to get more money thats all...

One guy got charged $900 from dealer for oem radiator (plastic / aluminum).
Some shops charge $500 or somthing which is really expensive.

Here is what i recommend doing, go to http://www.radiatorbarn.com/ , buy the all heavy duty all metal radiator $125 shipped. go to autozone, buy new upper/lower radiator hoses ($35), New thermostat $10. collent $20.

Do it yourself, it should take 3-4 hours depending. It's really simple. Here's a DIY

But, I just read it... had the guidelines and then start unbolting.
