Measuring D16 Crank For Bearing Clearances. Where are the oem sizes stamped?

m going to be measuring my D16 crank as soon as I get home after work tonight

Ive got the use of a 1-2" and a 2-3" micrometer

I know when measuring things at work sometime the measurement will vary by .001 at the same spot, just wonderring how exactly and where exactly the crank has to be measured.

Any pics or measurements showing steps or places or even after I get my measurements, what number co-incide with what bearing colors Im going to have to order would be appreciated

EDIT- I just realized that nothing has been done to this crank, isnt there OEM markings on it somewhere that show me the size of mains and rod bearings I will need to buy?

Oh ya I know how to check the clearances with plastigauge AFTER I get the bearings, but dont I just have to measure the diameter of the crank rod journals and main journals to buy the bearings?

No. You have to compare the codes stamped on the block and the main caps. Then you buy the bearings.
