91 Honda Accord Front Speakers, HELP WANTED!

Greetings! Well, i guess i'll just get right to the point.
a couple of days ago my friend gave me his speakers from his old car and i found out they are WAY better than the stock speakers my 91 accord has. well, i was installing the after market speakers and i found the back speakers quite easy to install . however, i could not install the front speakers because the speakers were inside the mountings and i couldnt find screws to take the mounting off...can anyone give me some advice on how to install the front speakers without dammaging the interior mounting? PLEASE HELP ME GET MY SPEAKERS INSTALLED! much thanks.

you have to pull off the whole door panel, once that is off there are three screws holding the plastic speaker mounting bracket in. You should remove it along with the speaker as it will most likely need to be trimmed as most aftermarket speakers are deeper than the stock speakers.

And you could put some filters in there while you're at it if you want to.
I had to put bass filters in mine cause they get too much bass from my head unit. Some people like to filter the highs, depending on what you like...
Oh yeah. Welcome to the HAN.
