you should also change trans filter and pan gasket if possible, if you drive your car hard try synthetic fluid and auto trans cooler.

Which Hondas even HAVE a pan & filter? Knowjack didn't say what he has, but ???

I drive a 00' accord 4cyl auto... i got the car used at 39k, and it now has 50k. I'm thinking the ATF was not changed at 30k and I'm worrying after reading all these posts about Honda transmissions.
FYI: over the weekend I checked out the local PEPboys and they don't sell the Honda ATF, though they do sell regular dextron III. |

don't go cheap on the ATF
i knew is expensive but is worth it i paid 20 bucks for 3 bottles of honda ATF |
