is it worth it?

I was thinking about shelling out for the Helms manual for my 89 crx. I bought the chilton manual, and while it's alright, the index SUCKS (it fails to list tons of shit that I know is in there somewhere) and the diagrams are laughable. And I find that the instructions assume that you know more than any beginner would. I've heard good things about helms manuals--are they significantly better than the Chilton ones? Are their indices (that's the plural of index ) comprehensive? Are the diagrams well labeled and detailed?

thanks for the input. I've got a very tight budget and an extra sixty for a book that doesn't give me horsepower is something I'm gonna get a second opinion on

The Helm manual is way better. The diagrams & procedures are really good. But it's still not indexed perfectly.

I feel you on the 60 bucks. Check out your library to see if maybe you don't gotta buy it (and just make copies for each project).

Sure thing, but I may ask a few more "favors" of you...
