how to remove shifter console cover

could anyone help with instructions on how to remove shifter console cover to retrieve coins that fell from the coin holder (below the cd player) into the open base and thru to the shifter console base. It is very annoying as I can hear the coins moving around when I corner or hit any rough patches of road.

thanks

what car is this on?

if its a civic: remove the ebrake portion by two screws on the sides near the front. then you just kinda lift the back up and wiggle it loose then it should be another 2 screws for the shifter portion. idk i forgot. i have mine all pulled out right now but its somethin like that

Shifter console removal -

Forgot to say the type of car it was. Acura Tl 2002. Coins fell from coin holder below cd player thru plastic slot and into the front of the shifter console. I can hear them rattling around when cornering, and on rough patches of road. Can anyone help with this?

If you are nice to your parts guy, he can show you the exploded view of that area and print it out for you. That should give you an idea of clips as well as screws that need to come out to get to a certain area.
