noisy front axle

i hear a noise coming from the drivers side wheel of my 93 integra. it sounds like the aluminum plate behind the rotor is rubbing on the wheel. i can hear it when once i reach 20-25 mph. once i hit 50+, the rubbing noise is much faster. i replaced my cv boots and the noise is still there. could it be the bearings or that aluminum plate? (the plate is a little bent out of shape). please help!!!

Did you look to see if there is a rock or something stuck behind the dust sheild?? (the plate) Just hit it a few times lightly with a hammer, see if something pops out.... Are your brakes goin bad????????????? check the warning tab on the pads...

There is a steel plate behind your brake roter. ITs thin maybe 1/16'' I'm willing to bet when you changed your brakes or cv boot, or maybe even just rotated your tiers you bent the plate in. Its just a heat deflecter. Take a screw driver and pry it inbetween your roter and the heat deflecter tobend ther deflecter away from your roter. Just be careful not to score your roter.
