B-12 Chemtool Injector Cleaning
Have you guys ever used this stuff to clean your injectors (the lazy way)? It works great! My friend and I did it on his Eclipse and he called me during his first drive after we did it and raved about how much better his V-6 felt and that I HAD to do it to the GSR. So, we cleaned used the stuff in all of the cars we own and my girlfriend's car, and he's right. Even on the low powered cars it's great. It restores power and my girlfriend's Saturn feels alot healthier and smoother. My friend said that his gas mileage went up some too. I haven't driven the GSR much since, but look foward to doing so. Anyway, it's simple, cheap and only takes about ten minutes to do:
There is a small hose going to your fuel regulator (the little canister looking thing) and intake manifold. Remove it from the fuel regulator and fill a small container with B-12 Chemtool. Have someone start the engine and keep the rpm's at about 2500-3000. Stick the hose into the Chemtool and let it suck a bit out. The engine will bog a bit so don't suck too much at a time or the engine will die. We did a whole can per car and have heard that alot of smoking from the exhaust is normal (so don't freak out).
That's about it. Have fun and don't break anything...
