Default Wax for freshly painted wheels

I'm finishing up on painting my wheels, They'll eventually have 3-5 coats of clear, but what would be a good "wax" to use to keep the paint from looking like crap in 2 weeks? I saw a few at the store that might work, but they all were some sort of scratch remover. I don't want to wear away all the clear in one application as it's trying to remove scratches that don't exist.

Poorboy's Wheel Sealant is your answer. Probably one of the most durable and slickest forms of protection for your wheels. Makes cleaning a lot easier since the contamination does not bond to the surface as well and helps reduce brake dust accumulation. 1 jar will last you many many applications, a little goes a long way. There also is Wheel Wax, but for an extra dollar, Poorboy's offers better protection IMO.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Sincerely,

George @ Detailed Image

plastickote high temp engine block paint. I could have gotten duplicolor's version, but it was more expensive and Walmart was the only place open when I went shopping at 4am.

Autozone had some other wheel specific paint, as well as some different colors such as bronze and an aluminium

I use Klasse SG. This sealant last pretty long time(3 to 4 months).

Definately one of the most durable sealants on the market. Works well, pain to remove at times though.
