best way is to go to Advance Auto Parts or Autozone and they check and print out the problem code for free. Once fixed they can clear it out. Some place may give you crap about clearing the CEL code out but thats only because of lawsuits and stuff...but most will do it. I have got it done at both 3 times already.

There's a 'female' connector under the dash near the passenger side of the console that you need to jump in order to get the codes. Go to the FAQ section of the acuravigorclub.com website and you can find the list of codes and how to access them.
