Is the tl 3.2 tranny the same as the 3.0 cl tranny? - Honda-Acura.net

I have a 98 CL3.0 automatic tranny going out.. I see many 99-2003 tl 3.2 automatic trannys available..

if anyone can confirm will it fit in my 98 cl..

I'm not positive but I believe the first gen tranny is a 4 speed and would fit different than a 2nd gen 5 speed.

No the tranys are different old one is a 4 speed the 02 unit is 5 speed harness is diffferent as well as the p.c.m. to run your trans.buy a reman trans at your dealer come with a killer warrenty .
