I would recommend that as far as it tells you where someone touches your car. I beleive it has a half mile radius. ill check and see if it has proximity, im at work rite now.

it does not show what was touched, rather why sensor was tripped to cause the alarm to go off. it does not have proximity on it either. its real benifits is that it has a pager feature and its remote start. if you have a manual transmission, it goin to be hard to have a shop install because its illegal to install it on a manual car.

Perks of working at Best Buy, things like that, as far as the legality of certain things, tend to be overlooked for employees.

I believe its safety reasons. Some people leave their car in gear when they park, and when they accidently hit the remote start-up, it can be a bit dangerious.

I installed mine yesterday. I didn't install the remote start feature because the clutch switch is so far up in the dash that I didn't want to bother cutting and soldering the wires together.

Great alarm, though.

I just ordered mine offline. I payed like $193 for it brand new. The one thing that it does not have that i thought it did, i think is keyless entry. From what i understand i also have to buy additional accesories to get this feature. Am I right?

No, it has keyless entry. As long as your car has automatic locks, it will have functioning keyless entry.
