I love to rip apart electronics and see how they work, and reassemble and sometimes they even work afterwords  . I don't have any certifications, and always willing have another opinion. I'v built many custom box's, wired lots of head units, installed crossovers, I'v also built custom amp racks and fiber glassed many panels. Maybe one day I'll take some pics and post.

hello im tyler. I have a black 2001 accord ex. I just started getting into car audio. Im really liking how easy it is to DIY with hondas.

kia(kicked inda ass) system, crx system
right now i got a clarion head unit with satalite radio, 600w 4way clarion going to the interior 4 3ch speakers no name, 1200w clarion 2way(bridged) to a 700w clarion sub in sealed box(in my kia), my crx is being striped and rebuilt from suspension up. system going into it is, clarion head unit, giong to a phoenix gold graphic eq/2 way x-over, heighs to a 600w clarion 4way bridged 2way for left/right (not aquired yet) front speakers, lows to two phoenix gold 1200w mono blocks powering 2 10" Rockford fosgates 800w/1000w peak, ps2 and in dash 8" lcd. and if that impressed you LOL you should see my home system.

Call the manufacturer and get the box/port dimensions for your sub model and you will end up will more responsive, harder impaction bass with almost any driver.

Whats up guys! Im MECP certified and spent the last 9-10 years working on custom fabrication in mobile audio. a few of the rides i worked on can be found on www.innovativerides.com though i think the site is down for repairs, should be back up in a few days. One thing I hate is when people read customers and just "SELL" something to them instead of educating them on products and how they might help or harm his system..

Graphic Designer Las Vegas 02 Civic EX 5-speed, Sedan All stock under hood..... for now. So far all I have right not is my head unit. It's a Alpine 9857 and a yet-to-be installed CHA1214 (trying to figure out where to mount it.) I'm gettin' a lil' up in age and want to build something nice but keep it real low-key as far as cosmetics are concerned. But I want some bang, boom-bip pretty soon. Any suggestions? |

My name is matt. I have experience in stereo installation, and electronics and circuitry. I work in the IT department at a local chemical company and am about to start college in a few weeks.
Just joined once i bought my new(to me) car. it's a 92 vigor GS. love the car. i thought it was a LS when i was buying it, but once i got it, and started looking around, it became apparent it was a GS . The interior is in really good shape. But the body has seen better days. Lots of rust spots. Most of them i can fix with some sanding, body filler, and paint. Two parts of the car will need to be cut out and welded. I can post pics if you like. If any of you have any ideas for me, im all ears. the 3rd owner of the car i guess, im the 5th, was going to paint it. Well they got as far as spraying primer all over it. Not a bad job, very little over spray. I plan to wet-sand off the primer and if the original paint underneath is in good shape ill keep it. If not, i was thinking of painting it black with a clear coat. The interior is black with dark wood trim, so i think it would look nice. The guy i bought it from didn't tell me about the major rust spots, but i flew 600 miles up to cleavland to get the car so i had no choice. Over all the car is in good shape engine, tranny, and interior wise, just needs some body work.

hey guys, the name is omar. most people just call me o. i sell car audio over at best buy, been a big fan of car audio for the last few years, been doin alot of research on a lot of products even the stuff i cant sell here. got a 00 civic hatch with Rockford Fosgate P312D4 (x2) in a custom enclosure, Rockford Fosgate P6002 (x2) 2CH amps, Rockford Fosgate P4004 4 CH amp, also Rockford Fosgate 6x9 and 6.5 speakers with Power Acoutik Tweeters. The car sounds great. Got a pioneer indash dvd that pumps out 2 volt pre-outs on it which im going to be putting in 4 line drivers to bump up the voltage to make it even louder.
PS.. i love being loud and annoying the living shit out of my neighbors |

Hey what up,i drive a 1998 Accord EX V6 SOHC 4door. am not a car audio specialist but i do know a few things on installing the right system on a 98 accord,on my ride i have 3 10in jl w-3 subwoofers inclosed in a fully air tight chamberd box,laso i have the fornt and back speakers all hooked up,in front i have 2 8inch lanzar 2 way speakers hooked up to a alpine 350(rms) v-power amplifier,also to that amplifier i have connected 2 Alpine 2 way type R 6x9 speakers,oh and for the w-3 jl's i have a 1,200(rms)watt excelon aplifier.and for all that power am running i hooked up a 13.0volt capacitator to keep my juice nice and healthy.by the way this setup sounds perfect with this 98 accord try it youl'l love,twelves are to cluttering for this car and also sound crappy.

Im Brandon,I work at blackjack motorsports, i drive a 99 gsr, with a few mods already, i've been into cars since i was about 15, i went to nascar technical institute in NC. I have a few cars completed already the gsr is my new project. I have a 94 s10 SS(254th made) with a tune port 4.3l with 18 inch black n chrome KMC's, 5 pt. roll cage, headers,zex 65 shot, CAI, flowmasters, pulleys, shift kit,interior is all done, 2 kicker L7s shaved tailgate and custom licsense plate box, i just sold my crx that had an LS/vtec turbo swap, wings west kit, black 17 in. R-1s, carbon hood and hatch, and i have a 69 camaro z28 with a rare 302 that is just fully restored with headers and metalic purple paint.

I drive a 96 accord with 2 jl audio 12w1 and a 300/2 amp. my wife drives a 99 civic with a 2 jl fronts and 2 infinity rears i forget the models on those. im also putting a jl 12w0 in today. im still a noob at installing but almost everything i know i learned here or from a friend. im getting the hang of it and have installed a few systems now. nice to meet everyone.

My name is Danny and I drive a 92 legend. I'm in it for the highest quality for the bottom line. I'm running an Alpine head, MB Quart 6.5 reference component fronts, pioneer 6x9's rears graffically equalized and two Polk 12's pushed by a JBL in a bandpass box. I am working on a new amp for the speakers and a new head unit. Right now my car sounds better than any system put in buy circuit city I've heard.-Bold statement I know. I love bass but It should not drown the other speakers in my opinion.

I have a '99 Integra with the stock audio, but a really sensitive alarm system that doesn't like to be messed with. I'm still in highschool, and im thinking of becoming.....either a chef, an accountant, or professional athlete.

my names bobby...ive had 4 cars and every one had a decent system in them..1991 integra se ls, 1994 integra se ls, 1991 mr2, 1991 acura se ls.
the biggest challebnge was puting a system in the MR2, being a two seater mid-engine theres no room behind you for a box and subs... i also work in the car-fi section at Best Buy...hopefully soon-to-be installer...MECP on the way... pics to come of the most recent system in the 91 integra. with custom amp rack molded sub box an 6x9 boxes... cheap stuff made to sound good. Kenwood headunit and subs,... power acustic amp 2 ch. amp...Dual (which isnt bad) 2 ch amp for 6x9's. rockford fosgate 6.5's and alpine type S 6.5...its my affordable system...haha and the most random peices... |

Hey guys. My name is Ali and I'm from Santa Monica. I have a 92 Si that was a hand-me-down from a good friend, and I'm having fun with it. I'm planning to do a fiberglass spare tire enclosure with a pioneer 12" polk 6.5's in the door, and 5.25's for the back. Dynamat or fatmat where ever I can get it to stick and stay. I haven't done a system in YEARS (1990 to be exact) and a lot has changed. Looking forward to all of it.
