jvc cd changer question

I have a 98 honda civic ex with the factory stereo still intact. The only thing I've added is a 6 disc Jenson CD changer. I recently purchased a JVC CH-X1100 12 disc cd changer to replace the old one I'm currently using. I'd like to know whether it's possible to hook this specific cd changer up to the factory system. The obvious problem I see is the fact that there are only 6 buttons for changing cds on the current Honda stereo and there are 12 discs in the changer. More importantly, the old cd changer uses a different older adapter than the new changer takes. I don't know much about car audio, so I can try to get someone else to install it i suppose. I was just curious whether it's possible to do so without replacing the reciever.

Thanks for your time!
