Do you have more than one subwoofer?

.50 cu ft X # of subwoofers

2 subs would need a box that was 1 cu ft. This isn't a 1x1x1 box, it'll larger than these dimensions. Internal volume is not figured using the external measurements. A "1 cu ft box" also must be larger to account for the space displaced by the subwoofer magnets.

you need a box that will hold 2 subs. i would suggest a box that has a divider that keeps the chambers of each sub separate. each chamber will need to hold ~.50cu ft after accounting for the space that the woofer structure takes up. which should be listed in your spec sheet for your sub.

btw, are you still planning on building your own?

If he's not, this may be a suitable box.... as long as he loses those grills.

2-10" i went to best buy, they have a nice on like that, with grills, and had 2 holes on the top, i dont know what those were for, but he said it was the best box they had for the 2-10" subs.

The two holes are ports.... they would change your enclosure size requirements dramatically.

You'd now need a box that's 2.30 cu.ft.
