Ok to start off i know very little about amps.

My question today is, if i have 3 subs in my car, can i use a 4 channel amp ?

Thanks!

i wouldn't reccomend it, those amps usually aren't made for running subs. they usually only put out 75-150 watts per channel. personally i would get separate amps for each...

ok, it sounds like it may work, but realistically those subs can handle alot more power than the amp is going to give them. if they RMS at 400, and the amp maxes out around 500, they can take alot more. drop them all down to 2ohms and wire one to a channel. even then they'll be underpowered.

get a wiring kit that is good up to like 1,000watts. that way when you wanna upgrade in the future you won't have to worry about wiring your car up again. you need power wire from batt. (probobly like 4guage) and ground to match, rca's from the headunit for each channel you're running a sub off, and the remote wire to turn on the amp. oh yeah, and speakerwire for each sub from each channel.

brands don't matter too much when it comes to power & ground, if you're having noise issues go w/a good set of rca's like monster cable or something. goodluck!

You will need a wiring kit BUT get better Rca cables. Umm you might need to get a Cap 2 farid. You do not need the 2 farid but you might need it in the future. Goodluck.

Well yes! I would rather have a really good 2 channel amp for those 3 subs. To be honest that amp you got is kinda cheapo. Im sorry if your hurt but that but it's the truth. That amp is gonna give you no more then 150 watts per chan. And your subs are rated at much better then that. If I where you I would have gotten a 2 chan amp and wired it up to those subs. Good luck.
