1992 Accord ABS Light
I own a 4dr 1992 Honda Accord AT. After I put the car in drive, about 30 seconds later, the ABS light comes on and stays on permanently. It does this all the time. I can't sense any difference at all in the braking abilities of the car, but then again I don't brake really hard and drive normally. I had the ABS light tested and it came back as code 1, pump motor over-run. Instead of pouring money into a old ABS system, I'd like to disable it and the light from illuminating so I pulled back the lining as best I could in the trunk on the right side near the jack and came upon what I think is the ABS control module with two 12V Mitsuba harnesses with orange plugs/connectors going in them on the bottom or underside of the module. Are these the two connectors that need to be unplugged? Is there a trick to unplugging them, like depressing a pulling a certain area of the plug/harness? The access is difficult since the trunk liner won't pull all the way back.
