If i put it in my oil, since i JUST changed it is it a bad idea since it will knock all of the crap into my clean oil...should i wait till i am closer to an oil change if i put it in?

Wait till your closer to your oil change to do the whole thing. Its like a three step process. Do a search for seafoam and you'll find some good info.
