94 Accord wagon AUTO redlines at 4k rpm =(
have a 94 accord wag automatic w/140k. I have owned it for almost a year now. First of all, coming from a supercharged TL, to this car ( i need the cargo space, I own a deli) it plain sucks. And to make matters worse, it wont get out of its own way. I distictly remember my mothers 95 LX sedan I drove when I was a teen and I beat the crap outta it =), and i KNOW it would hit 6 grand in almost every gear (auto). Can anyone relate to this? I am debateing a topend rebuild, or cam or somthing to get it to move. Of course I would love an H22 conversion, but dont wanna spend 2k plus i will never see again.
I am however willing to put some money into it to make it run right, or better. Could this be a trans issue? It shifts great, but shifts right at 4000 rpms at WOT.
