dude, if you can't figure out how to do it then maybe you should just leave it alone. comare the socket of a 9005 to a 9006 and it shouldbe pretty obvious

ok, take a dremel (easiest way to do this) and look inside the 9005 bulb where the two prongs are. you will see two little plastic guides in between the prongs. those are what keep the 9006 plug from plugging in. so, your gonna have to take the dremel and grind off those two guides... compare it with a 9006 and you'll see what im talking about cause the 9006 only has one guide. once you grind those guides off, clean all the dirt and shit off the bulb and plug it inot the car. If you don't have a dremel you can also use a nail file or a soldering iron, but a dremel is easiest.

Why be such a dick when you can just simple give them a link or something?
I've gone thru all the searches and Found very little info because of you guys just trying to blow the guy that's asking the question..so as a result, I found one link that has the Do-It-Your-Self page...
And the rest of the info i found was
1. It will burn out faster if you it more (duh?) b/c it's higher voltage
2. It's simple! just search for it!
3. something rubber gasket...
4. GET SILVERSTAR!...piaa is just way too expencive..

the way I did mine: I didn't want to mess with the actual light housing so I modified the 9005 bulb. Take out your 9006 and compare it to the new 9005. You should notice the differences in the notches. I don't have a dremel so what I did is took an old disposable butter knife and put it on a hot stove. Then just slice away at the new 9005 bulb until u get it about right. Make sure u look inside the plug couse there is a diff there as well. Just slide the knife in and it should cut off the ridges. Its really easy, just don't touch the actual bulb and if you do clean it off really well.

Oh at the end just plug in the 9005 to the 9006 slot. You might need to re allign your lights or might not. Just look at where they are shining.
