Default disapointed with 03 performance

i've had my 03 accord for about 3 months and it is really starting to bother me. i feel like it is so slow. i think the engine is broken in by now but it still feels slow. i don't even think it would break into the 16's. is this ok for the accord?

he probably got the i4 5speed...Don't they got like 160 hp to the fly?

I saw a V6 six speed run 14.6-14.8s in 1/4 mile stock.

yea honda rates K24 at 160 hp, but others have dynoed it and said that honda underrated it by around 15 hp.

It's pretty damn quick...0-60 in 7.5 seconds according to Car & Driver. Just wait until performance mods come out, until then you're SOL.

I was told the I4- 5 speeds could take the 6th gen AV6.

the car is slow.. compared to.. a lot of cars.. but for an accord.. its probably the fastest 4 banger since the accord was made =P.. and to me its slow cuz i had a gsr before.

i think maybe cuz i had a prelude before it feels slow but i can't stand that the car has no torque below 3000 rpms.

It probably can, from zero to something. Not on the highway, though.

Slow...such a subjective statement. Go race something for comparison or go to the track or time yourself 0-60 to quantify it a bit.

Are you joking? If your prelude was not seriously modded torque doesn't compare with the new accord. Just look for dyno. BTW, why did you purchase the car if you didn't like it?
