Default Accord 99 sedan performance upgrade help...

Hey! I need some help. I have a Honda Accord 99 sedan recently purchased to modify for speed. Looking to run in the lower 13's @ 1/4 I'm thinking about swapping for a H22 motor. and turbo charge it. I just put in Neuspeed racing springs with Tokico illumina shocks all around. And just bought AEM V2 intake, I also installed ACT Stage 4 clutch kit(pressure plate, disk, wheel bearing) , including a lightweight cluthmaster flywheel. I need as much help as I can get. I also heard that its better off keeping the f23A1 motor it already has and bulding that up cause it has more HP potential. Any ideas, advice, help? I Really appriciate it. Also other than hood and trunk swap for carbon fiber what else i can do to drop weight? This is my car trying on some 17 inch 5zigen rims.

how much money do you have to spend? The best setup I've seen for a 6th gen so far is an H22 turbo, but that guy spent about $10,000 or a little more to do it. He's throwing down 262hp to the wheels, that's Evo and STi numbers. As for weight savings rip out anything not necessary, seats, interior, door panels, ect.

Don't take this to heart! But why build up a 6th gen sedan for speed as compared to let's say a 6th gen V6 coupe or a lude.

Yeah, I would think if you want all out speed for the drags, you would have gotten something like a civic or teg or lude.

But nonetheless, great looking sedan, and welcome to the board and good luck with the mods.

i didnt pick a civic or a lude for the following reasons. 1- everybody and thier mothers got a hooked up civic. i want to be different and pull out the potential from a large sedan. 2- why a lude when the lude weighs about 20lb more than accordsedan 6gen. i ust want a project and i want to be different and a accord is a good enough challenge to keep me busy for a long time.

i see the power difference. but how about accord with the lude type S Jdm motor? not 150hp anymore more like 220 and about 190 to the wheels. i got about 7gs right now to start off and a steady job to keep the goodies coming in.
