so i just can buy 9006s and fit them into AV6 lowbeams?
it's not gonna cause any wattage problem?

they will melt the socket. the higher wattage makes it much hotter.

cut or melt the two guides inside the socket in order for it to fit

huh? 9006 draws less wattage than 9005. why would you want to do a backward conversion anyways? not to mention the 9006 has the cap on the tip of the bulb.

AV6 has 9005 Lowbeam, and 9006 HighBeam, don't they?

then how come you say 9006 draws less watt?

Default got it backwards probably

they probably have 9006 lowbeams and 9005 highbeams. 9006 bulbs have the painted cap over the end. also, 9006 is lower wattage, not very good for high beam.

the two sockets (low/high) are not the same, there are little tabs in different locations around the ring to prevent you from accidentally putting the wrong bulb in. you'd have to cut into the housing with a dremel or a file or somethin. also, the electrical socket is different...one has a single tab and one has two tabs.
