I use a phillips and a flathead, putting the flathead on one side and twisting it slightly just to add some resistance, then w/the phillips, back the plastic screw out. using two flatheads will work, but more likely to damage them or the lining itself by enlargening the hole. Replacements are like .50ea at Honda.

Really?? If they are, I'd paypal you to pick them up for me because over here they're $2.50 each at the dealership. I called in because I lost a couple of my plastic grommets for the bumper, etc. When they told me the price i was like :fawk:

Yeah, my local dealer rips me on them...$2.50 each. I'm going to try and find some cheap ones on-line and buy about 10 just to have on hand, because every once in a while I get a stubborn one that end up destroying just getting out.

Not a problem. the parts dept opens up in 10 minutes so I will call to make sure, but I'd be a left one they charged me .50ea, I bought 10 of em, so all in all, it was $5 and some change.
