    Clutch problems

I did a search but came up empty... About a month ago I noticed my clutch fluid was low in the reservoir so I added some to top it off. Yesterday I was on my way home and after I shifted into to gear the rpms would just go up but the car would barely move. So I am thinking great I need a new clutch.. Anyway when I finally got home I checked the clutch fluid in the reservoir and it was totally empty!! Well I added fluid and took the car out for a drive and all was fine again. I cannot find leaks anywhere. Is my clutch going out or is there somewhere I need to look for a leak? Thanks for any help

If the master cylinder is leaking thru the shaft seal, it goes thru the firewall. Then it gets soaked up in the matting underneath the carpeting so you never see it leaking. It's a real mess to clean up, too.

I did check it out and found the leak inside the firewall. How much is the average price of repair for this?
