Nankang Tires. Good?

hello. I ordered a set of 18" Z5000 rims from wheelmax.com and they told me that my rims will come with Nankang Ns2 tires. What the hell is that? is that even a tire brand? i checked on some internet tire stores and they went for about 135 each tire. That is not all that cheap of a price, so what kinda quality should i expect from these foreign tires? anyone have any experience with them? thanks. Btw, tire size is 225/40/18 directional

nankang is almost like kumho, i also think it might be a korean company. they're pretty good IMO, if you like kumhos.

i used to have nankangs on mine. they gripped like hell but they didn't last for ****. i had them on for about 6 months(4,000) miles, and they went bald. but i think my car was a little out of alignment. im rollin on kumhos now. but overall they are pretty good for the price, not a lot of road noise.

holy shiet.......6 months? thats like a joke. Did you drive hard or peel out a lot? cause 6 months from new tires mean they suck.

Nankang tires have been around for awhile. They do have about the same quality as Kumho tires, just didn't have the popularity. Probably because these were the "no name" alternative type tires. I said the same thing when I heard that there were tires called "Visa" (which is supposedly like Falken's).

well when i had mine on my car, i really didn't peel out on them because i couldn't, they gripped so much. but when i drive i corner pretty hard. plus driving around with the car out of alignment also led to their early demise. so far my kumhos are still in great condition and i have had them on since july. so almost six months.
