5th gen heater problem
I've done a few searches on this, but I can't find exactly what I'm looking for.
My ac/heat knob was stuck (it was always sort of hard to turn), so I took the dash apart to find out what was wrong. Turns out the cable had come off and was blocking the movement of the knob. No problem--I took reattached the cable and screwed everything back on.
The problem now is that the knob won't turn the heat on. I've located the valve-thing under the glovebox (the part that mixes air from the heater and ac), and I can manually open and close it, no problem. My heat and ac work fine. When the heater vent is open, I can turn the dial and make all the air come from the ac. I can't, however, make the valve send heat. The knob turns like it should, but nothing happens.
Any ideas?
