Are those expensive headlight bulbs worth it?
Those costly headlight bulbs like Sylvania superstars or whatever. Do they actually give more light output or are they just for looks? I'm not talking about a 9005/9006 conversion or whatever. And would just changing the bulbs need the headlights be aimed any different?
17" racing hart cr6 rims, falken ziex tires, painted moldings, neuspeed sport springs, kyb agx shocks, jdm replica headlights, blackhousing bumper lenses, homemade mugen grille, modified s-type tails, AEM CAI, neuspeed front upper strut bar, reverse indiglo gauges, blue A/C lights, blue reverse/D4 lights, and an audio system
if you're not doing an OEM bulb replacement, you should ALWAYS have the bulbs realigned. just like when you mess with the suspension on a car, you should always have the tires aligned.
glad you're being considerate of oncoming traffic by asking about realignment.
BTW, um from dat souf cakalak! (summerville/charleston)
Expensive bulbs are not worth it. I've always bought the cheapest pair I could find on ebay. Although I think I liked the color of my old eurolites more than my DOT approved philips
i havent found an area that my $7.95 stock bulbs didnt light up
Twelve bucks for my pair, and they look just like real headlights!
Dec. 1999 - May 2010 - 2000 Prelude 5 speed manual, sold with over 220,000 miles and still running great
May 2009 - Present - 2009 Accord V6 6 speed manual coupe, w/o nav
8 bucks with a hint of blue and brighter than my oem bulbs from Ebay
w/o a 9006 conversion how long are you looking to keep silverstars running in your car for?
do they last longer then the crappy 8 dollar bulbs?
