Default 94-97 accord transmission

I know the 98-02 accord has transmission problem including my own 2000 accord. But I heard the 94-97 accord trans are pretty good. Does anyone has the 94-97 accord with over 200k miles on the same trans. Please let me know.

My mom used to drive a '97 with around 150k, but that was a 5MT I4. As I'm sure you're aware, it's just the autos of certain gens that give issue, more so the V6 versons.

I had 220K on the original trans before the clutches went out ... put a Japan used one in (be aware the gear ratio is much different ... takes about 500rpms to attain the same speed now).

I have a 95 Accord 2.2 LX with almost 150K. The automatic tran slips when shifting until its warmed up thou. I was actually hoping the newer accords had better transmissions. Doesn't make me too confident for the other years if 94-97 was supposed to be good years for the transmission.

most trans are as good as you take care of them, I would recommend doing a service at lest every 30k or sooner if it smells burnt.. my 94 trans is still holding it's own with 150k on it, but the 98+ ones do have higher failure ..but adding a trans cooler and filter and frequent oil changes will extend the life of your trans.
