Default 1997 honda accord rear rattle

Just had rear brakes done by dealer. Drums, calipers, pads. Now I hear a rattling sound from left rear. When I apply brakes gone. Happens when I turn. Checked brakes myself everything looks good.

Any help would be appreciated.

ok i'm a little lost. You said you had the rear brakes done by the dealer. However you stated that you have drums calipers and pads. I assume you mean rotors since you can't have drum calipers. Unless you mean to say wheel cylinder and pads would be shoes if you have drum brakes.

If they are disc brakes in the rear i would see if the brake cable is loose and tapping the rear trailing arm. Could also be a shim or something has come off its seat. If you know what your doing take the brakes apart and double check.

Drum brakes also have a cable that can come loose & tap against stuff.

Check suspension control arms, loose ball joints, anti-roll bar end links or bushings, stuff like that...

Brought it back to dealer after I could not find the problem. Dealer fixed the problem. Told me rotor was bad. No charge.

not sure how a rotor could cause a rattling sound unless they forget to tigthen a caliper bracket bolt or something along those lines... I could see a pulse or bad pedal movement but...............meh, whatever. Glad to hear its fixed.
