Rims and tires
Does anyone know if Nankang tires is a good tire? The reason I ask is because my I want to get my Accord some new rims and the website below has a deal of the 4 rims and these Nankang tires. I personally have never heard or seen of this brand of tire and I was wondering if it was a decent tire. I'm used to Michelin tires on my accord and I know it won't be anything like that but just wanna know if its worth the money. Also are LiquidMetal rims any good? Any input is appreciated and suggestions would be awesome. Thanks guys

I would just make sure that the RIM spec. is rated to take the load of the V6 accel/decel/breaking/weight.
It is probably fine though.
Regarding tires, I would only buy known brands. Ask around if anyone has problem with balancing.
I have a set of snow tires that noone seems to balance them and after a while the balancing goes.

stay away from Nankang tires. They are super cheap and UNRELIABLE tires. You can get Nexan N3000 Summer Tires. They are best bang for the buck and to be honest, i love them. Great in the rain and dry conditions. treadware is very good. Well they cant compare to my Bridgestone Potenza RE45, but they are pretty damn close.

So does anyone know of a good place to get rims? I don't have loads of cash to spend so as bad as I hate to say it, I really just want some cheap rims that look good. They don't have to be any kind of name brand to make me happy, just gotta work. Any advice?

you should be able to pickup a used set in good condition. I got advanti on one car and asanti on the other. i got the advanti new for 1000, but used sets i have seen cheap as 250 like new condish.

Thanks, Im still not sure yet whether i can swing the rims yet. Not even sure it wouldn't make my car look stupid. Oh well, thanks for the info. Ill keep it in mind if i decide to do anything with the rims.

well rims are rims right. personally, i dont like chrome rims. they are too flashy and once damaged from curb rash they are no longer nice. I would go with a flat black, anything with a nice colour lip, or simple flat metal look.
