Default 1999 accord radio swap

I want to pull the cassette player out of my 99 accord and install a CD player. A friend has a factory CD player tht he pulled out of a 2000 Passport. The radio appears to have the same dimensions and I was wondering if anyone knew if this would fit and use the same wiring harness as the Accord's

I'm pretty sure the radio harness won't work. The Passport is a rebadged Isuzu Trooper.

Get the 6CD in dash changer from the 01-02 accords.

Okay I will stick with an Accord stock CD player and skip the Passport. Do the original CD players from the 1999-2002 Accords played "burned" CDs or only manufactured ones?

my 98 EX's single disc cd player plays all my burned CDRs. RWs are hit or miss.

I would just buy aftermarket, it will give you better quality along with more functions. They are really easy to install also. If you get one from the nearest audio shop (best buy, circuit city, whatever) you can usually find them for $150 installed with harness and all. Or you could go to crutchfield.com and install it yourself. There you can get em for $100 and install it yourself.
