Default TCS / Brake lights on

hullo... i know that this topic has been brushed upon in the past, but i kinda want more of a concensus on the reasons for the following:

brake light turned on recently, and then about a minute or so later, the tcs light and the exclamation mark lights up as well. my e-brake is completely down and it has nothing to do with me pressing the tcs button that is causing the tcs stuff to light up.

not even a day prior to this happening, i had the rear passenger tire patched up due to my running over a staple on a street in irvine. the car was driven locally and the lights did not turn on. it wasn't until i was in los angeles that this happened (next day).

please help... someone?

You will have to get the code pulled but accords are notaries for brake switch failure. you should also check your fluid level.

Yeah, I figured it might have to come to the code thing. Brake fluid is good - it was the first thing I (well, my dad) checked.
