Default spoiler installation question

I recently purchased an OEM spoiler off of ebay. when I put it up to the trunk the alignment seems perfect. the problem is, it only came with four screws to hold it in. No trunk springs, no bolts, nothing else. I was just wondering, would I come across any problems if I installed it without any trunk springs? Also the screws are pretty short. I wonder if they would be enough to hold the spoiler down? It's made of ABS plastic and doesn't seem too heavy. any info on this would be great. I have an '01 ex v6 sedan btw. thanks in advance.

your trunk will not pop open anymore. When you open it via remote or interior handle, it'll slightly raise up.

You gotta be careful on windy days. The lid will blow right over.

thanks for the info. also, the brake light wire is just an exposed wire with no plastic connector. Does anyone know where I could find a plastic connector that i can just plug into the third brake light wire from my trunk?

I went to a junkyard and found a wireing harness with connectors. I didn't have to cut anything. You may want to do the same.
