Default Would a SAFC2 be any good for me? (im_a_n00b)

I have a 4cycle accord with AEM Cold air and DC Sports 4-2-1 headers with a custom exhaust setup and AEM adjustable cam gears, now my question is, should i or should i not consider buying a SAFC2? I've heard that you can "gain"/"free-up" a few horses and gain up on some torque. Can someone guide me?
