06 guage console in 03-05
whats up guys,
my speedometer recently broke, and i was thinking, could we take that whole console that has the rpm, speed, gas and etc out to replace with a 06 one?
it seems to be the same size, so i fugre why not?
i am getting the whole unit replaced, and i was just wondering if it actually would fit

physically its the same size, but the connection may be different. the 06s have "maintainence reminders" and im nut sure if they use a separate harness for that, or a totally different one.

I will physically fit in the dash since they didn't redesign the dash board for '06, however, due to the maintenance minder system, there are no guarantees that it will actually work.

I haven't seen the 06 one yet but in 06+ cars the vin# is programed into the ECU & gauge cluster so I would say from 03-05 is ok but the board is diffrent ,so if buying a new unit your old mileage can be transfered to the new cluster with the Honda scanner.
