It all depends on what you are looking for in a car. Once we know that, we can give more advice and suggestions.

DX - base model w/ no options.

LX - DX w/ power options (windows/locks) and a few more upgrade options.

EX - Top of the line.

EXR - equivalent to U.S. version of an EX, but for Canadian (and I believe overseas as well) market only.

Kri, on the Accord, is it a 4 dr or 2 dr? If it's a 4 dr and around 180 kms, I would choose that. Unless you have extra money to spend on insurance which would be increasing, I would choose a 4 door Accord providing all the vehicles are in equally good shape. Choose the one in the best overall shape or what repairs are the least serious. I don't know if anyone would agree but that is my initial assessment.

I thought the differences between the EXR (loaded) and EX is that the EXR has leather (seats) and maybe a few more accessories as standard instead of optional?

P.S. Imho, those are good cars you narrowed it down to.

You're in Canada, I presume? Go on the Cdn. Auto Trader site and search for those cars; do individual searches. For e.g., search for '95 Accords. Write down the range of prices and make sure you include the model (LX, EX, EXR etc.) with the price. Then you have something to go on when you talk price.

There is a 'book value' for the cars, too. I think it's usually pretty high so I would match up the asking price with similarly equipped cars in similar condition in the Auto Trader.
